How this documentation is organized

ERPNext has a lot of moving parts. Documentation is separated into four sections designed to help you find what you need. A high-level overview of how it's organized will help you find what you are looking for.

• Tutorials are for ERPNext beginners. Tutorials will take you by the hand and show you how to confidently entere and view data in less than 5 minutes by giving you concrete examples to work with.
• How-To Guides are recipes to help you work in ERPNext. They will guide you through the steps you need to take in order to handle day-to-day tasks correctly.
• The reference section contains detailed information on the purpose of fields and other detailed information. It assumes a working knowledge of ERPNext.
• The explanation section goes into detail about some of the decisions and rational for how things are put together. It contains information that requires a more thorough discussion to be properly grasped.
