Dividers Store Reference
Background
Dividers Store Reference is a DocType provided by the Dividers app, developed by John Bulcher jbulcher@starstix.com.
Document List
The Dividers Store DocType provides Document List actions to make managing store assignment easier. Document List actions can be found in the "Actions" button menu in the upper-right of the Document List. The indicated action will be run on each selected Store.
- Assign Stores to Sales
- Assigns the selected stores to the indicated Sales Partner/Person. The fields this dialog presents correspond to the STORE ASSIGNEMNT section of the Dividers Store Document.
- Overide Sales Assignment
- Override the current Dividers Store assignemnt, granting exclusive access to a single Sales Partner/Person for a limited time. The fields this dialog presents correspond to the STORE ASSIGNMENT OVERRIDE section of the Dividers Store Document.
Dashboard
Dividers Store Reservations
Aside from the normal Dashboard features, the Dividers Store Dashboard also displays a summary of ad reservations for the store.
Dividers Store Form
Top Section
- Banner
- The store banner/name.
- Store Number
- The store number, as used by the Dividers Store Chain to identify this store.
- Chain
- The Dividers Store Chain the Dividers Store belongs to.
- Division

The Dividers Store Chain Division the Dividers Store belongs to.
Display depends on field "Chain"
STORE STATUS Section
- Status
-
The Divider Store's status, according to our ability to place ads in the store. Can be one of:
- Active,
- On Hold,
- Unavailable, or
- Closed.
Setting this field to anything other than "Active" will present two other field in this section that must be filled out in order to save.
- Inactive Reason

The reason the store is not active.
Displed when the "Status" field != "Active"
- Status Updated On

The date the store's "Status" field was updated. This field is intentionally editable - see the "Affects" tab for details.
Displed when the "Status" field != "Active"
Inactive statuses can be configured to display for a period of time after the date in this field. Back-dating this field can have the effect of bypassing this mechanic so that the store is immediately removed from the sales inventory results.

INTERNAL TRACKING Section
- Store Tags
- One or more Dividers Store Tag Documents assigned to the store.
- Source
- The source through which we acquired the store.
- References

This field is used to relate this store to other organizations store lists. No single combination of Type and Reference can be used twice, since that indicates a duplicate.
- Type
- The reference type, i.e. the group or organation that owns the list with the store on it.
- Reference

The ID used by the group in question to identify the store. Note that "NAM" uses the format:
[0-9]*-[USA|Canada]For example, "1234-USA", or "1234-Canada".
INVENTORY Section
- Checkout Lane Count
- The number of manned checkout lanes in the store
- Self Service Lane Count
- The number of self-service checkout lanes in the store.
- Surveyed On
- The day the store’s inventory was updated.
PRODUCTION Section
- Divider Type
- The type of divider the store accepts at the checkout lanes.
- Gang Template
- Gang templates have multiple levels of defaults that can override the default template for a given divider type. This is the most specific override, and forces this store to use the indicated Dividers Gang Template.
ADDRESS AND CONTACT Section
- New Address
- A button for creating a new Dividers Store Address.
- New Contact
- A button for creating a new Contact for this Dividers Store.
PRIMARY ADDRESS AND CONTACT DETAIL Section
Warning
If changes are made to the Document selected under "Store Primary Contact" or "Store Primary Address", the changes will not be reflected in the Dividers Store Document. To fix, re-select the relevant Document.
- Store Primary Contact
- A Link Field used to select the primary Contact from among the Contacts related to this Dividers Store.
- Mobile No
- Read-only field: the Mobile Number of the primary Contact.
- Email Id
- Read-only field: the Email address from the primary Contact.
- Store Primary Address
- A Link Field used to select the primary Address from among the Addresses related to this Dividers Store.
- Physical Address
- Read-only field: address information from the primary Address.
- Phone
- Read-only field: the phone number from the primary Address.
- Email Address
- Read-only field: the email address from the primary Address.
- Map
- Upon saving the Dividers Store, an attempt is made to geo-locate the store using Google's API. If the result is successful, the location of the store will be displayed on a map here.
STORE ASSIGNMENT Section
- Store Assignment

Assign the Dividers Store. Each row represents a Sales Person or Sales Partner that has access to a Dividers Store.
- Document Type
- The Document Type to use for the assignment: one of Sales Person or Sales Partner.
- Assignment
- The Sales Person or Sales Partner to assign the store to.
- Release After
- The last day the assignment is active. Leave empty for permanent assignment.
- Notes
- A field to offer context for the assignment.
STORE ASSIGNMENT OVERRIDE Section
- Document Type
- The Document Type to use for the override: one of Sales Person or Sales Partner.
- Assignment
- The Sales Person or Sales Partner who will have exclusive access to this Dividers Store.
- Remove Override
- Click this button to clear the override fields. The Document must still be saved for it to take effect.
- Release After
- The last day the override is active (required).
- Notes
- A field to offer context for the override.
